About the role
Join Amazon's Simple Email Service (SES) team as a Software Development Engineer. You will help shape the future of email communication for millions of customers by building reliable, scalable backend and customer‑facing systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core services that power Amazon SES.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
- Ensure high availability and scalability of services for a global customer base.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root‑cause remediation.
- Contribute to strategic planning and help define the roadmap for new features.
