CNC Operator / Setter - Turning

About the role

We are looking for a CNC Operator/Setter specialized in turning to join our production line. You will operate a range of CNC lathes, including Deco, Citizen, Nakamura and Miyano, ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Select and load machining programs onto the CNC lathe.
• Set cutting tools, speeds and feeds according to job specifications.
• Achieve target cycle times while meeting production goals.
• Conduct quality inspections and measurements to verify part conformity.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans for machines and tooling.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and processes.
• Re‑order tooling and materials as needed.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report any issues to supervisors or quality control.

Required profile

• Previous experience in CNC turning operations.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Strong numerical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Effective communication skills.
