Commercial Account Manager – Fresh Produce

About the role

We are a fast‑growing fresh‑produce business supplying high‑quality fruit and vegetables across Ireland and international markets. As we expand, we need a commercially driven Account Manager to grow customer relationships, spot new opportunities and drive profitable sales.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop customer accounts across retail, wholesale and food‑service channels.
• Identify opportunities to increase margin and overall sales performance.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, supply‑chain, operations and logistics teams.
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, promotions and commercial agreements.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements and competitor activity.
• Seek out new business opportunities and growth areas.
• Represent the company professionally in meetings and customer interactions.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with strong negotiation instincts.
• Energetic, ambitious and proactive personality.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to think quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in fresh produce, FMCG, food trading or wholesale is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and customer focus.
• Professional presentation and attitude.
• Full driving licence preferred.
