About the role
Glenveagh, one of Ireland's leading homebuilders, is seeking a Construction Programmer to develop and maintain detailed project schedules for residential construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and on‑site teams to ensure programmes align with budgets, timelines and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Create and update detailed construction schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or similar tools.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to gather information and align schedules with project goals.
- Analyse schedule data to identify risks, inefficiencies and potential delays, reporting findings promptly.
- Conduct site visits, attend weekly meetings and provide programme updates, weekly reports and monthly targets.
- Maintain comprehensive records of scheduling, resource allocation and progress tracking.
- Ensure all activities comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
Required profile
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Significant experience in construction programming or a similar role.
- Background in residential (house or apartment) construction is desirable.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong command of MS Office applications.
