Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of residential, commercial and fit‑out projects in Galway. The role reports to senior management and works closely with clients, subcontractors and regulatory bodies to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from initial planning through to handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and clients.
• Manage subcontractor performance and contract adherence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and regulations.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
