Director, Merchant Cloud Data & Agentic Commerce Strategy

About the role

The Director, Merchant Cloud Data & Agentic Commerce Strategy will shape the next phase of Mastercard’s Merchant Cloud platform. Reporting to the Vice President of Merchant Cloud Product Management, this senior leader will define how data, analytics and AI‑driven commerce capabilities become cohesive, market‑ready propositions for acquirers, channel partners and merchants worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define product solution strategies and ensure they translate into delivered, market‑ready offerings across the Merchant Cloud platform.
• Lead the data and insights proposition strategy, leveraging Mastercard’s global data assets to create high‑value analytics, benchmarking and performance solutions.
• Develop the Agentic Commerce proposition, playbook service models, and ecosystem partnerships required to enable trusted, interoperable agent‑enabled commerce.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to scale data‑driven and AI‑enabled capabilities globally.
• Represent the Merchant Cloud data strategy with external acquirers, channel partners and merchant customers.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in data strategy, analytics and AI‑driven commerce within a global technology or payments environment.
• Deep understanding of merchant solutions, payment platforms and the needs of acquirers, partners and merchants.
• Track record of translating strategic vision into product offerings that scale across multiple markets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to build ecosystem partnerships and drive adoption.
