Senior Software Engineer in Test

About the role

Mastercard’s Consumer Data Management team in Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to shape the future of secure consumer data services. You will collaborate with product owners, technical leads and developers to build high‑performance, low‑latency Java micro‑services that power Mastercard’s global payment ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement resilient Java‑based capabilities for the Consumer Data Management platform.
• Partner with product owners and agile scrum teams to define features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse customer issues, propose solutions and research alternative technical approaches.
• Automate build, deployment and operational processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and improve test automation suites covering unit, functional and integration testing.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and intellectually curious senior engineer with a passion for problem solving.
• Strong experience in Java and micro‑service development.
• Proven ability to work in a co‑located agile scrum environment.
