Director of Player Safety and Anti-Cheat

About the role

Scopely is seeking a Director of Player Safety and Anti-Cheat to lead a high‑performing Trust & Safety team for Monopoly GO!. The role is fully remote and focuses on protecting player integrity, preventing cheating, fraud, and account compromise while delivering a fair gaming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale a multidisciplinary Trust & Safety organization covering anti‑cheat, account security, content moderation, and fraud prevention.
• Design, integrate, and continuously improve anti‑cheat systems in partnership with engineering and external vendors.
• Develop strategies and technologies to safeguard player accounts from theft and unauthorized access.
• Manage strategic relationships with SaaS, security providers, anti‑fraud systems, and merchants of record.
• Define and optimize moderation, fraud detection, and player safety processes for consistent, scalable enforcement.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations to balance risk mitigation with player satisfaction.
• Proactively identify emerging risks and deliver solutions that enable growth and protect reputation.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background with experience designing or integrating anti‑cheat engines.
• Proven knowledge of account security systems and video‑game account management.
• Familiarity with SaaS management, third‑party integrations, and external frontline operations.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor and grow high‑performing teams.
