Electrical Maintenance Technician – Membrane Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our membrane manufacturing operations. The role involves ensuring equipment reliability, safety and compliance with cGMP standards while minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and line changeovers on equipment such as powder transfer systems, mix vessels, extrusion lines, annealing ovens, test machines and solvent recovery units.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and operational issues on membrane production equipment.
• Document all activities in accordance with cGMP and regulatory requirements (FDA, IMB, HSA, EPA).
• Utilize the SAP Next ERP/CMMS system to create and close work orders and track maintenance history.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, automation and reliability engineers to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Identify improvement opportunities, lead capability‑building projects and support OPEX initiatives.
• Maintain critical spares inventory and ensure safety, environmental and plant procedures are followed.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in life‑science or healthcare related production.
• Familiarity with cGMP practices and regulatory compliance.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to work in an injury‑free workplace.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills across engineering disciplines.
