Employment Lawyer – Associate Director (UK)

About the role

Interpath is seeking an ambitious Employment Lawyer to join its UK legal team at the Associate Director level. The role combines legal expertise with commercial insight to address complex workforce and organisational challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on a broad range of UK and international contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
• Support strategic growth initiatives such as acquisitions, senior‑level hiring and new market entries.
• Identify and manage employment, regulatory and reputational risks, delivering pragmatic solutions for disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, disputes and exits.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and HR teams across Interpath’s global operations.
• Instruct and manage external counsel on all employment‑related matters.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales or Scotland with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience in employment law.
• Experience in private practice, in‑house, or a professional services/advisory environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK employment law, including employee relations, acquisitions, restructures and litigation.
• Proven track record supporting workforce change projects, transactions or organisational transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Commercially minded with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
