Engineering Graduate – Planning & Survey Coordination

About the role

SIRO is seeking an Engineering Graduate to join its Plan & Design team. You will support the planning, coordination, and reporting of field survey operations, helping to deliver Ireland’s nationwide fibre broadband network. This hybrid role offers a fast‑track career in a dynamic, award‑winning telecom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews of FMR submissions.
• Assist the Planning & Survey Engineering Manager in scheduling field survey crews.
• Maintain and update operational trackers, schedules, and planning tools.
• Prepare dashboards and reports to monitor survey progress and performance.
• Communicate schedule updates to teams and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting systems and processes.
• Provide general planning and administrative support to the team.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures.

Required profile

• 3rd level degree in science, engineering or related field (preferred but not essential).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a large workload.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Full driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet (a plus).
• Familiarity with GIS systems (a plus).
