Enhanced Nurse – Autism Services (Limerick)

About the role

Corlann is seeking dedicated nurses to join its Autism Services team in Foynes, County Limerick. The positions – Staff Nurse and Enhanced Nurse – focus on delivering person‑centred care to individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, supporting them to live as independently as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to two individuals living in their own apartments.
• Promote independence, choice, and life‑skill development.
• Facilitate daily routines, community engagement, and meaningful activities.
• Deliver structured, person‑centred care in line with assessed needs and care plans.
• Implement positive behaviour strategies and maintain a calm, predictable environment.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RNID) recognised by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Experience working with autism, intellectual disability, or complex needs is preferred.
• Knowledge of person‑centred planning and individualised support approaches.
• Excellent communication skills.
