Events & Marketing Manager

About the role

The Events & Marketing Manager will lead the delivery of a national events programme and integrated marketing campaigns for a student‑success platform. Working closely with senior leadership, you will translate event strategies into detailed plans, collaborate across teams, and analyse performance to drive engagement and commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute in‑person, virtual and hybrid events, managing suppliers, venues and logistics.
• Develop pre‑ and post‑event processes, including risk management, performance reviews and continuous improvement.
• Create and deliver multi‑channel marketing campaigns across digital, email, social and on‑campus activities.
• Monitor campaign performance, optimise future activity and support audience growth.
• Oversee the events calendar, budgets, resources and KPI tracking (attendance, satisfaction, ROI).
• Produce detailed reports for decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Manage event platforms and systems to ensure seamless user experience and accurate data capture.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, sales, content and design teams and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers and venues.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking, ensuring accurate invoice and purchase order processing.

• Proven experience delivering events and marketing campaigns in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with a focus on results.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
