Executive Director Pricing & Contracting

About the role

The Executive Director Pricing & Contracting (EDPC) will lead the pricing and contracting function for a global portfolio, acting as the primary contact for priority countries. Reporting to the Head of Pricing, the role partners with therapeutic areas, health economics, access, finance and policy teams to shape launch and in‑market pricing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a pricing & contracting team with a disruptive mindset to develop innovative pricing strategies and tactics.
• Provide country‑level support, conduct pricing scenario analysis and advise on contract proposals.
• Educate senior leadership on pricing and reimbursement developments in priority markets.
• Identify policy barriers and develop strategic plans to address pricing components of key policy issues.
• Endorse price proposals in line with international governance and monitor local pricing implementation.
• Oversee vendor, consulting and internal projects that answer strategic pricing questions.
• Collaborate with therapeutic areas, HEOR, access, finance and other functions to align pricing strategies with brand objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading pricing and contracting teams in a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of international pricing, reimbursement, and policy landscapes.
• Ability to work across functions and geographies, influencing senior stakeholders.
• Track record of developing and executing launch and in‑market pricing strategies.
