Food & Beverage Assistant – Full‑time at OD's Restaurant

About the role

The Gleneagle Hotel is looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Assistant to join the team at OD's Restaurant on Muckross Road. You will work in a lively, fast‑paced dining environment, delivering high‑quality service to guests while supporting the restaurant’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, taking orders and serving food and beverages promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area, tables, and service stations.
• Assist the kitchen and bar teams with order preparation and timely delivery.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy setting.
• Friendly, professional, and guest‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of restaurant POS systems.
• Ability to follow service standards and procedures.
