Front of House Manager – Luxury Castle

About the role

We are seeking a Front of House Manager to shape the guest experience at a brand‑new luxury historic castle in the Irish Midlands. Reporting to the Castle Manager, you will own every touchpoint of the guest journey, from the first reservation enquiry through to a warm welcome and a seamless departure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead reservations, pre‑arrival communications, concierge and valet services, building the process from the ground up.
• Design and deliver an unhurried, highly personal arrival and departure experience.
• Manage accommodation, dining, Afternoon Tea and all guest‑facing experiences, ensuring immaculate presentation.
• Maintain the property management system (PMS) and detailed guest profiles.
• Coordinate front‑of‑house elements for exclusive events, private dining and celebrations.
• Coach and develop a small, cross‑trained front‑of‑house team.
• Uphold the highest standards of discretion, privacy and personalised care.
• Collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage team for a seamless day‑to‑day experience.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in ultra‑luxury or five‑star hospitality environments.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver flawless service.
• Proven leadership skills, leading by example and coaching teams.
• Comfortable working with high‑expectation guests and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide or LQA service standards.
• Experience in pre‑opening properties or exclusive‑use venues is a plus.
