Front Office Receptionist / Guest Relations

About the role

We are seeking a professional Front Office Receptionist to join Sheen Falls Lodge, a two‑Michelin‑Key hotel in Ireland. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless check‑in and check‑out experience while delivering the high standards of service expected at a 5‑star property.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all guest enquiries, reservations and billing accurately.
• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, allocate rooms and keys.
• Maintain smooth office operations during each shift, including correspondence and daily Knowledge Report.
• Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, Duty Manager and General Manager to minimise complaints.
• Uphold fire‑safety regulations, security protocols and hotel property protection.
• Identify opportunities to improve the guest experience and support team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a 5‑star hotel front‑office environment.
• Ability to work weekends, bank holidays and flexible hours.
• Permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction.
• Professional appearance, uniform compliance and courteous demeanor.
• Strong initiative, teamwork orientation and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Reservation and booking system handling.
• Accurate guest billing and account management.
• Knowledge of fire‑safety and hotel security procedures.
