Deputy General Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a Deputy General Manager to join the leadership team of our award‑winning 5‑star resort, a Relais & Châteaux property with two Michelin keys. This senior position supports the General Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence across the hotel and golf club.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across all hotel departments, ensuring guest satisfaction, productivity and profitability.
• Support the General Manager in hotel and golf club management, acting as decision‑maker in their absence.
• Maintain high service standards in all outlets, enforce SOPs and ensure professional team presentation.
• Handle guest communications, complaints and queries promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and continuously improve the guest experience to meet or exceed 5‑star and Relais & Châteaux expectations.
• Provide strategic leadership to department heads and drive operational performance through efficient roster scheduling and resource planning.
• Promote a strong revenue and upselling culture through training, team engagement and execution.
• Collaborate with events and F&B teams to enhance the overall guest experience.

Required profile

• Qualified and experienced hospitality professional with an extensive background in 5‑star luxury environments.
• Proven senior leadership experience in hotel or resort operations.
• Ability to make decisive decisions and ensure business continuity.
• Strong commitment to luxury standards, guest service and operational excellence.
