IT Support Engineer – 6 Month Contract (Dublin)

About the role

Our Dublin‑based client is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a critical go‑live phase. The role is contract‑based for six months and will focus on delivering stable IT services, rapid issue resolution, and supporting the scaling of operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote IT support throughout the go‑live period.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Windows environments, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Manage device provisioning, patching and software deployment using SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopatch.
• Act as the primary point of contact for incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal business impact.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for systems, configurations and incident resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Support business continuity and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell scripting.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in IT support or operations.
• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
