Junior Software Engineer – Cloud SaaS & AI-augmented Development

About the role

Trimble is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join its Owner & Public Sector division. You will work on cloud‑based SaaS products that modernise how code is written, using AI‑augmented tools to accelerate development and improve the digital backbone of critical public infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage coding assistants and AI agents to write clean code, generate tests and produce documentation efficiently.
• Design, build, test and deploy features for cloud platforms in a sprint‑based, Agile environment.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Senior Engineers in discovery sessions, using AI tools to prototype ideas quickly.
• Integrate AI agents and automation into CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual effort and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong desire to work with AI‑enhanced development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
• Experience or interest in Agile/Scrum team environments.
