Smart Hands Technician

About the role

EOS IT Solutions is looking for a motivated Smart Hands Technician to deliver front‑line support for end users. You will work across AV conference room systems, network infrastructure and the service desk, ensuring smooth daily operations and rapid issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for help‑desk requests, handling software, hardware and connectivity issues, logging tickets and escalating complex cases.
• Diagnose and resolve AV and connectivity problems in conference rooms, set up equipment for meetings and maintain AV inventory.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic wired and wireless network issues, support on‑site users and assist the Network Operations team, escalating advanced problems to Level 2.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in IT support (technician, analyst, administrator or specialist).
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, think critically and work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Mac OS, Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Cisco networking, Wi‑Fi and general network troubleshooting.
• Experience using ticketing systems, particularly Jira Service Management.
• Familiarity with AV conference‑room equipment and inventory management.
