Knowledge Lawyer – Flexible Working

About the role

Our client, a leading law firm, is looking for a Knowledge Lawyer to join its Banking and Finance department. The role combines legal research, knowledge management and client‑focused training, offering a flexible working pattern of four or five days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assess new and proposed Irish and EU legislation and case law, producing detailed internal briefings.
• Develop and maintain collections of valuable know‑how that support the firm’s technical positions.
• Design and deliver education and training courses, together with supporting materials, to enhance legal knowledge across the firm.
• Identify key legal developments of interest to clients and prepare bespoke client training sessions.
• Participate in legal‑tech pilots and implementations, promoting a strong knowledge culture.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Private‑practice background in banking and finance, preferably within a larger firm.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities with a target‑driven mindset.
• Excellent understanding of business issues faced by clients and the importance of effective knowledge management.
• Comprehensive research skills and familiarity with the legislative process in the EU and Ireland.
• Interest and curiosity in legal‑tech advancements.
