Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance and repair activities for equipment, machinery and building systems within our pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The role focuses on delivering reliable, safe and efficient operations through proactive maintenance strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage proactive maintenance programmes to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead, coach and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, allocating tasks based on skill sets and providing performance feedback.
• Plan and oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, vendor relationships and the maintenance budget while ensuring cost‑efficiency.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using Root Cause Analysis and promote a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing technicians and maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery and building systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
• Root Cause Analysis techniques.
