Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a leading food manufacturing client in Dublin on a night shift. The role involves providing comprehensive electrical and mechanical maintenance support to ensure production lines run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full maintenance support for production lines, handling both planned and unplanned tasks.
• Close out preventative maintenance activities and ensure all records are up‑to‑date.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic schematics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults promptly to minimise downtime.
• Work independently with initiative, without supervision.
• Collaborate with production teams to keep equipment operating at target performance.
• Operate modern equipment control interfaces.

Required profile

• Experience in an electrical and mechanical maintenance environment, preferably within food production.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Relevant trade qualification in the electrical or mechanical sector.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting.
