Operations Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Technician to join our busy Operations team at our Waterford facility. Reporting to the Stability Lead, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing customer samples, ensuring they are stored, retrieved and shipped in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and log customer deliveries, flagging any discrepancies.
• Store samples in temperature‑controlled rooms, walk‑in freezers (‑80 °C) or cabinets up to 50 °C as required.
• Retrieve, pack and dispatch samples back to customers on schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility and ensure equipment maintenance according to the Quality Management System.
• Document activities accurately in the QMS and follow standard operating procedures.

Required skills

• Experience with sample handling and storage in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with temperature‑controlled storage equipment.
