Marketing Executive (Full or Part Time)

About the role

The Shona Project is seeking a Marketing Executive to join its communications team on a full‑time or part‑time basis. You will help shape how the organisation presents its purpose‑driven work to a wide audience, from parents and teachers to corporate partners and funders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow professional and parent‑facing communication channels, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Create engaging content that reflects the impact, values, and voice of the organisation.
• Write stories, updates, and thought‑leadership pieces that highlight the realities facing young people.
• Support campaigns, programme launches, events, and awareness moments throughout the year.
• Plan and produce the monthly newsletter for parents and teachers.
• Collaborate with the wider content team to capture stories and insights from programmes across Ireland.
• Help shape content themes and messaging aligned with core values of honesty, confidence, kindness, advocacy, and community.
• Monitor content performance and contribute ideas to expand reach and impact.

Required profile

• Experience in B2B, corporate, purpose‑led or strategic communications environments.
• Strong storytelling ability and a passion for social good.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
