Night Porter – Hotel Hospitality

About the role

The Night Porter will be the primary point of contact for guests arriving late or departing early at the Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport. Working independently through the night, you will ensure the hotel operates smoothly, safely, and is ready for the next day’s activities.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome late‑arriving guests and assist with early morning departures.
• Support reception with night‑time check‑ins, check‑outs and guest enquiries.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain safety and security of the property.
• Perform night audit reporting and keep accurate records.
• Prepare public areas, meeting rooms and function spaces for the following day.
• Carry out fire‑safety walks and report any incidents.
• Provide light housekeeping assistance when required.

Required profile

• Enjoys working independently and taking ownership of a night shift.
• Friendly, professional approach to guest service.
• Good communication skills and practical problem‑solving attitude.
• Attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience is desirable but not essential.
