Chef de Partie

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will help maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and service across all sections, supporting the Chef Manager and catering operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain food hygiene, service and presentation in line with HACCP and health & safety legislation.
• Assist with menu planning, costing and budget control to achieve target gross profit margins.
• Process food orders following approved supplier lists and company purchasing policies.
• Ensure daily implementation of food safety and hygiene procedures, completing all required records.
• Oversee team performance to deliver top‑quality dishes for clients.
• Check and sign off food deliveries, confirming quality and temperature standards.
• Support stock takes, weekly hazard reviews and maintain clear communication with clients and staff.
• Carry out assigned cleaning and hygiene duties to maintain a safe kitchen environment.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably industrial catering.
• Familiarity with HACCP documentation and menu planning.
• Strong reliability, punctuality and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Professional, courteous demeanor with a passion for food and service.
• Flexible approach to hours and willingness to undergo further training.
