About the role
Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is seeking an Office Manager for its headquarters in Ballycoolin, Dublin. The role supports senior leadership, oversees office administration, and ensures smooth operational processes across multiple construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Manage staff travel and accommodation needs.
- Lead the Administration, Payroll, and Time Management team.
- Coordinate and order all office supplies.
- Maintain holiday rotas for senior on‑site staff.
- Work with IT to order hardware and supplies on time.
- Support higher management and strengthen relationships between project teams and support departments.
- Assist project teams with local authority contacts, subcontractor liaison, FTP, IT, and branding setup.
- Develop guidance, onboarding handbooks, and a Site Set‑Up Handbook for site admins.
- Identify and address workflow bottlenecks to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Contribute to procurement KPIs using SAP to ensure compliance with GRN processes.
- Provide professional secretarial support for senior leadership, including client correspondence, proposals, and presentations.
