About the role
The Health Service Executive is recruiting a Chief II Pharmacist to lead the National ePrescribing Project within the ePharmacy Programme. Based in the Hibernia Building, Heuston South Quarter, Dublin 8, the role will span a 24‑month specified purpose period with the possibility of permanent appointment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership for the rollout of ePrescribing services across Ireland.
- Attend and contribute to Dublin‑based meetings and national stakeholder forums.
- Travel nationally to support implementation sites and ensure consistent project delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate pharmacy workflows into digital platforms.
- Monitor and report on project performance against agreed milestones.
Required profile
- Registered pharmacist with extensive experience in clinical pharmacy.
- Demonstrated leadership in large‑scale health‑technology projects.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Dublin and travel throughout the country.
- Ability to adapt to HSE’s blended working policy.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ePrescribing systems and digital pharmacy solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication with clinical and technical stakeholders.
