About the role

Logitech is looking for a Principal Industrial Designer to join its Mouse Design Team in Cork. This senior position blends world‑class craft with strategic foresight, shaping the future of one of Logitech’s core product categories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of next‑generation mouse experiences, turning complex human problems into intuitive, beautiful solutions.
• Partner with senior leadership to define long‑term design strategy for the Mouse Design Team.
• Manage design projects from brief through production, ensuring the highest quality and detail.
• Mentor and provide thought leadership to other designers, fostering a culture of curiosity and craftsmanship.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product marketing, and business stakeholders to drive design excellence across disciplines.

Required profile

• 10+ years of industrial design experience, either in‑house or at a leading agency.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑volume consumer hardware products.
• Strong hands‑on abilities in sketching, visualisation, and physical prototyping.
• Deep understanding of anthropometrics, ergonomics, and the digital‑to‑physical workflow for handheld devices.
• Expert‑level proficiency in 3D CAD tools.
