Motion Design Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Motion Design Specialist to bring digital products and interfaces to life through thoughtful motion design and interaction storytelling. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, shaping engaging experiences from early concepts to production‑ready assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design high‑quality animations, transitions, interaction flows and motion studies that enhance product usability.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, producers and stakeholders to identify motion opportunities.
• Translate business objectives into intuitive motion concepts and scalable interaction systems.
• Communicate timing, pacing and interaction intent clearly to engineering teams.
• Help define motion principles, interaction patterns and consistent motion systems across products.
• Improve internal workflows, tooling and design processes for greater efficiency.
• Mentor and support other motion designers, providing feedback and craft leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional motion design experience in a studio, agency, product company or freelance setting.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion craft, interaction design and product‑focused thinking.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and user‑centered design methodologies.
• Ability to transform complex concepts into polished, intuitive motion experiences.
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and communicating motion specifications.
