Project Engineer III – Asset Management

About the role

CHA Consulting, Inc. is looking for a Project Engineer III to join its Asset Management team in Carlow, Ireland. You will support advanced manufacturing and mission‑critical facilities by ensuring data accuracy, improving maintenance strategies, and driving reliability initiatives across the asset lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, documentation, and system support for asset data, equipment hierarchy, and maintenance strategy development.
• Develop asset documentation, data models, reports, and system inputs under senior guidance.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, documentation gaps, and system issues using standard procedures.
• Monitor project tasks and milestones, addressing data or system issues that could affect maintenance planning and operational efficiency.
• Lead significant portions of asset‑management initiatives, including field assessments, data validation, and system updates, with oversight from senior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in mechanical engineering.
• Understanding of QA/QC procedures and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Membership in professional engineering societies is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with MicroStation.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office.
