Project Manager – Solar Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of rooftop and ground‑mounted solar projects across Ireland. The role combines construction management expertise with a strong focus on renewable energy, requiring regular site visits and stakeholder interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and construction teams to meet milestones.
• Oversee all construction phases from pre‑construction through commissioning and handover.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
• Lead on‑site construction teams, including subcontractors, and foster a collaborative environment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards through site inspections and audits.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Manage project budgets, forecast costs, approve expenditures, and seek cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in renewable‑energy projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software.
