Project Scheduler

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Project Scheduler to join its Dublin office, supporting a wide range of infrastructure projects. The role combines onsite presence three days a week with two days of remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring close collaboration with project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules and Gantt charts using Primavera P6, aligned with the standard Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Identify and define all project activities, milestones, and deliverables across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to establish realistic activity durations, sequencing, and resource assumptions.
• Maintain logic ties, dependencies, leads, lags, and float to accurately identify the critical path.
• Integrate individual schedules into a consolidated Master Programme Schedule for portfolio‑level reporting.
• Conduct contractor programme reviews, schedule risk assessments, and critical path analysis during tender evaluation and project delivery.
• Assess project changes and variations for impacts on schedule, budget, and risk.
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) implementation and monitoring across the project portfolio.
• Prepare performance reports for senior stakeholders and develop cost‑loaded schedules for cash‑flow forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project scheduling and controls for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work onsite three days per week and remotely two days per week.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for schedule risk and impact assessments.
