Radiographer – CT, MRI & X‑Ray (Permanent, Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Radiographer to join a leading diagnostic imaging department in Cork. The role involves delivering high‑quality CT, MRI and X‑Ray services in a busy hospital environment while maintaining patient safety and comfort. You will work under an experienced Radiology Manager who promotes innovation and staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Perform General Radiography, CT and MRI examinations in line with departmental protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and dignity throughout all procedures.
• Apply radiation protection principles (justification, optimisation, ALARA, dose limits).
• Participate in on‑call and out‑of‑hours services as required.
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate imaging records using RIS and PACS.
• Support quality assurance programmes and departmental audits.
• Report equipment issues promptly and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Engage in continuing professional development and training.
