Sales Development Representative – UK & Ireland

About the role

Okta is seeking a high‑energy Sales Development Representative to drive demand for its market‑leading cloud security solutions across the UK and Ireland. You will work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to generate qualified leads, set meetings, and create new sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective customers to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within the assigned territory.
• Research and enrich account data, adding contacts and strategic insights.
• Conduct high‑level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts.
• Promote Okta’s solutions and the On‑Demand mode to potential buyers.
• Achieve monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and closed business.

Required profile

• Previous experience in prospecting or lead generation.
• Track record of working toward sales targets, KPIs, or under time pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.
