Senior Category Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Category Manager to support our growth ambitions across the Irish grocery retail market. The role will drive thought leadership, unlock growth opportunities, and manage day‑to‑day relationships with our key strategic customers in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with priority and strategic customers, ensuring long‑lasting, profitable partnerships.
• Review and validate customer commercial activities and deliver category recommendations for optimal distribution, range, space and merchandising layouts.
• Develop and execute leading category visions and strategies that deliver a winning share for Kinisla.
• Identify actionable insights to fuel the annual brand planning process across our portfolio.
• Bring external market insights into the business and support the development of a Category Capability Framework.

Required profile

• Dynamic team player able to build relationships and challenge constructively.
• Experience navigating large internal networks while working autonomously.
• Solid background in category management and managing strategic customers in the grocery retail trade.
• Highly analytical with strong communication skills and the ability to present insights to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with category software and portals such as Kantar, Dunnhumby, EYC, Talysis, Iri and Shopper Intelligence.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort handling large data sets.
