Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

Citco is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Global Internal Audit (GIA) team. Reporting to the GIA Senior Internal Audit Manager, you will lead audit engagements, evaluate controls, and support the continuous improvement of audit processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audits, including complex transactions and operations.
• Develop detailed audit programs and document audit steps.
• Identify, assess and communicate audit findings, and track issue resolution.
• Collaborate with global audit teams and provide updates on emerging issues and resource needs.
• Contribute to audit methodology projects and enhance GIA processes.
• Maintain professional knowledge through training and industry involvement (e.g., IIA).

Required profile

• University degree with a professional audit qualification (CPA, CIA, CA, etc.).
• Minimum 4 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a financial institution or Big 4 environment.
• Strong understanding of modern internal audit best practices and governance, risk and compliance concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a globally distributed team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the TeamMate audit management system.
• Experience using Computer‑Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs).
