About the role
We are looking for a Senior Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our Newbridge head‑office. The role is full‑time, permanent and supports the Facilities team by ensuring the reception area runs smoothly and projects receive the administrative backing they need.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the reception desk to a high standard of order and presentation at all times.
- Answer all internal and external telephone calls promptly and relay messages accurately.
- Open, sort and distribute incoming post and manage outgoing post.
- Register all visitors, sign them in and out, and greet them professionally, offering refreshments when appropriate.
- Assist colleagues with stationery and equipment supplies and organise refreshments for meetings.
- Handle courier services (DPD) and support First Aid and Fire Warden duties after training.
- Provide backup to the Office Manager during busy periods or absences.
- Potentially take on Personal Assistant duties for executive management in the future.
Required profile
- Positive, approachable attitude with a natural ability to make visitors feel welcome.
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Excellent organisation and time‑management abilities, able to multitask.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a professional image.
- Proactive, able to work independently and take initiative.
- Willingness to learn new responsibilities and support the Office Manager.
