Senior Retail Insights Consultant

About the role

The Senior Retail Insights Consultant joins NIQ’s Regional Retail Customer Success team in Dublin, working as a trusted advisor to a strategic global retailer. You will translate complex business challenges into data‑driven recommendations, influencing senior stakeholders across multiple European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary Customer Success partner for the retailer’s headquarters, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Translate business priorities into structured analytical briefs and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Leverage NIQ data, tools and analytical frameworks to address pricing, promotion and revenue‑optimization topics.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Product, RMS, CPS and local Customer Success teams to ensure cross‑country alignment.
• Identify commercial opportunities to expand and deepen the partnership.
• Present insights in both formal and informal settings, adapting communication to diverse audiences.
• Contribute to internal initiatives that foster collaboration and support broader NIQ objectives.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management or Consulting, preferably in market research, analytics, FMCG or technology.
• Strong understanding of FMCG and retail dynamics, especially manufacturer‑retailer relationships.
• Proven ability to build and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
• Consulting‑style communication skills with a talent for simplifying complex insights.
• Proactive, structured and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• University degree or equivalent professional experience.
