Senior SAP Systems Configurator – Functional Analyst

About the role

General Motors is seeking a Senior SAP Systems Configurator to join its Global IT Organization. In this role you will design, configure, and support SAP solutions that span the end‑to‑end value chain, from source‑to‑deliver through make‑to‑ship to order‑to‑delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into robust SAP configurations and functional designs across modules such as SD, FI‑CO, MM, PP, WM, EWM, and Ariba.
• Lead configuration and solution design for core processes including Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Production Planning & Execution, and related workflows.
• Support the migration to S/4HANA and SaaS‑first solutions, helping to rationalize and modernize the SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Product Lifecycle Management, Global Purchasing & Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Order Management.
• Oversee financial postings, cost allocations, and supplier collaboration within your functional domains.

Required profile

• Strong experience as an SAP Functional Analyst with expertise in one or more SAP modules.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable SAP processes.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and GM’s IT Solution Delivery Methodology.
