Senior Systems Configurator, SAP Functional Analyst

About the role

General Motors is transforming its transportation business and seeks a Senior Systems Configurator – SAP Functional Analyst to design, configure and support SAP solutions across the end‑to‑end value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP configuration and solution design for core processes such as Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Production Planning & Execution.
• Translate business requirements into integrated SAP functional designs covering modules like SD, FI‑CO, MM, PP, WM/EWM and Ariba.
• Support sourcing, procurement, supplier collaboration, logistics, inventory control, warehouse management and goods movement.
• Oversee financial postings, cost allocations and supplier collaboration within your functional domains.
• Collaborate with product lifecycle, global purchasing, manufacturing, logistics and order management teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with GM’s IT Solution Delivery Methodology.
• Contribute to GM’s migration to S/4HANA and SaaS‑first solutions, helping rationalize and modernize the SAP landscape.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SAP functional analyst with deep knowledge in one or more SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI‑CO, MM, PP, WM/EWM, Ariba).
• Strong ability to convert business needs into robust SAP configurations and functional designs.
• Experience supporting end‑to‑end supply chain, manufacturing, and order‑to‑delivery processes.
• Familiarity with S/4HANA migration and SAP best practices.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional global teams.
