Senior Software Architect & Engineering Lead

About the role

Cubbie is seeking a senior software architect and engineering lead to drive the next phase of growth for its neurodiversity support platform. The role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with product, operations, and leadership teams to shape architecture, infrastructure, and AI‑assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable front‑end and back‑end systems for the Cubbie platform.
• Lead architecture decisions across applications, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
• Develop and release new features rapidly in response to operational and customer needs.
• Improve platform reliability, monitoring, scalability, and performance.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to increase engineering speed and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the full stack.
• Mentor junior developers and establish strong engineering standards.
• Drive enhancements in CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation.
• Contribute to the long‑term technical roadmap.
