Senior Software Engineer – Data Services (Patient Care Systems)

About the role

Medtronic’s Patient Care Systems team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to drive data services that power connected cardiac therapies worldwide. You will build, monitor, and improve the platforms that deliver real‑time insights from implantable devices.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Create proactive monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their skill development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 2 years).
• Experience with data architecture, schema design (JSON/Avro) and ERD‑based solutions.
• Proven work in agile environments (scrum or kanban).
• On‑call support experience.
