Senior Windows System Engineer – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

Our client, a large enterprise organisation, is looking for a Senior Windows System Engineer on a 12‑month day‑rate contract. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting a complex Microsoft infrastructure that spans multiple tenants and serves a large user base.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments across several tenants.
• Configure and support Microsoft Teams, including Enterprise Voice and collaboration services.
• Design and enforce Conditional Access policies and other identity security controls.
• Manage Exchange Online, mail flow, and tenant configurations.
• Lead tenant onboarding, migrations and cross‑tenant integrations.
• Maintain endpoint management with Microsoft Intune and enforce device compliance.
• Support SharePoint Online governance and collaboration platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams on hybrid/on‑prem integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
• Contribute to security and compliance initiatives across Microsoft cloud services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior‑level experience in Microsoft infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID and enterprise collaboration tools.
• Proven experience in identity and access management for hybrid cloud environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced enterprise setting.
