Remote Software Engineer – AI Code Evaluation

About the role

Turing is seeking a remote Software Engineering evaluator to help create high‑quality datasets for training large language models. You will work closely with AI researchers to curate, correct, and assess code across multiple languages, ensuring AI‑generated solutions are efficient, scalable, and reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Curate and build code examples in Python, JavaScript (including ReactJS), C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
• Evaluate, refine, and verify AI‑generated code for performance and correctness.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve AI‑driven coding solutions against industry benchmarks.
• Develop agents that automatically verify code quality and detect error patterns.
• Design verification mechanisms for software‑engineering tasks across the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ability to communicate evaluation rationales clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience building full‑stack, production‑grade applications.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design, debugging, and code‑review processes.
