Shop Floor Assistant (Retail)

About the role

The Shop Floor Assistant ensures that all merchandise in the assigned department is presented to the highest standard while maintaining hygiene and food safety. You will support daily store operations by processing orders, rotating stock, and keeping the back‑store tidy.

Key responsibilities

• Live Centra brand values – proud, energetic, imaginative and community‑based.
• Process orders for various departments and ensure accurate stock rotation.
• Merchandise and present the store to the highest visual standards at all times.
• Liaise with the Store Manager on layout changes, ends and sides, and implement them correctly.
• Apply correct labelling and stock rotation procedures.
• Check deliveries against goods‑inward procedures.
• Maintain a tidy and well‑organized back‑store.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
• Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
