Shop Floor Assistant – Retail Store

About the role

Centra is looking for a motivated Shop Floor Assistant to join the Dooradoyle store team. You will ensure the shop floor is well‑presented, stocked and compliant with hygiene and food standards while delivering a friendly customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Merchandise, rotate and face‑off all stock in the assigned department.
• Process orders for various departments and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Liaise with the Store Manager on layout changes, end‑caps and side‑caps and implement them correctly.
• Apply correct labelling and stock rotation procedures.
• Check deliveries against goods‑inward procedures and keep the back‑store tidy.
• Work shifts Monday‑Friday with varying start times (08:00‑16:00 or 09:00‑17:00).

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible.
• Ability to use own initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
