Software Development Manager – Fraud Platform

About the role

Mastercard is looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team within the Fraud Platform group in Dublin. You will drive the design, development, and delivery of new capabilities that help authenticate users and combat fraud across the global payments network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to software development teams building Fraud Platform enhancements.
• Lead definition, development, and delivery of major initiatives in an Agile environment.
• Partner with Business and Product Owners to prioritize enhancements and make strategic decisions.
• Act as Scrum Master for one team while managing resources across multiple local teams.
• Advise on design, optimisation, and implementation while maintaining commercial awareness.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software development teams through the full software lifecycle.
• Strong track record of delivering mission‑critical solutions from concept to production.
• Passion for building high‑performing engineering teams and driving continuous improvement.
• Ability to make sound judgement calls and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
